Shipping Policy

Live Animal Shipping Rates

All reptiles and amphibians are shipped overnight to your doorstep for a flat rate of $49.99, regardless of:

  • Number of animals ordered
  • Species
  • Size or weight

Whether you order one animal or one hundred, the overnight shipping cost remains $49.99.

Feeder Insect Shipping

  • Crickets and fruit flies: Shipped via UPS Overnight
  • All other feeder insects (roaches, ants, earthworms, mealworms, waxworms, hornworms, etc.): Shipped via USPS Priority Mail (2–3 days)

Feeder insects ship separately from live reptiles, amphibians, tarantulas, or scorpions if ordered together.

Signature Requirement

All live reptile, amphibian, tarantula, and scorpion shipments require a signature upon delivery.
Feeder insect shipments do not require a signature.

If no one will be available to sign for the delivery, you may request that the package be held at your local FedEx, UPS, or USPS facility for pickup.

Live Animal Shipping Schedule

Shipping Days → Delivery Days

  • Monday → Tuesday
  • Tuesday → Wednesday
  • Wednesday → Thursday
  • Thursday → Friday

Order Timing

  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM (EST) on Monday ship Monday to arrive Tuesday
  • Orders placed Friday, Saturday, or Sunday ship the following Monday

⚠️ Important: Overnight shipping refers to transit time only, not order fulfillment time. Orders are typically fulfilled within one business day. Once fulfilled, the shipment travels overnight.

Tracking Information

Tracking numbers are emailed once available, typically after 6:00 PM EST on the evening your order ships.
Cricket shipments may not include tracking.

Feeder Shipping Notes

  • Roaches, ants, earthworms, giant mealworms, mealworms, and waxworms ship via USPS Priority (2–3 days)
  • Tracking for feeder shipments is available upon request
  • Feeder orders placed after 12:00 PM PST on Wednesday will ship the following Monday to prevent insects from sitting in transit over the weekend

Packaging & Handling

All shipments are professionally packed by experienced staff using proven methods designed to ensure the safety and health of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates during transit.

Inventory Management

We strive to keep our website inventory accurate and up to date. However, in rare cases where multiple orders are placed for the same animal or inventory updates lag, we will promptly notify you if an item cannot be fulfilled.

Additional Shipping Notes

  • We do ship to P.O. Boxes
  • We cannot hold orders for future delivery dates
  • Orders ship according to the published schedule only
  • Weather or other unforeseen issues may cause shipping delays; customers will be notified if this occurs

Shipping Restrictions

  • We ship within the United States only
  • We ship to all U.S. states except Hawaii
  • We do not ship internationally or to Canada

There are no deliveries on major U.S. holidays, including:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Independence Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas

Wildlife Laws & Compliance

Each state has its own wildlife regulations. We strictly comply with all federal, state, and local laws and will never knowingly ship animals in violation of any regulation.

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify legality before ordering. Requests to bypass regulations will not be honored.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment.
Once an order has shipped, cancellations and refunds are not possible. We will do our best to assist when possible, but shipped orders are final.
