Live Arrival & Health Guarantee

UNI REPTILES HOME makes every effort to offer captive-bred reptiles whenever possible. When animals are not captive bred, we make our best effort to clearly identify them as Farm Raised (FR) and/or Field Collected (FC). While we strive for accuracy, UNI REPTILES HOME is not responsible for any unintentional notation errors.

All reptiles are guaranteed healthy at the time of shipment. We provide a 15-day health guarantee beginning on the date of delivery, provided all terms below are met.
Live Arrival and Health Guarantees are void when:

  • Nighttime temperatures at the destination fall below 40°F, or
  • Daytime temperatures exceed 80°F

DOA & Health Claim Requirements

  • DOA (Dead on Arrival): Must be reported within 2 weeks of delivery
  • Health Guarantee Claims: Must be reported within 5 days of arrival

NO EXCEPTIONS:
All claims require clear digital photos (minimum of 3 angles) showing:

  • Side view
  • Top view (belly down)

IMPORTANT:

  • All photos must be taken on top of the original shipping box
  • The FedEx label must be clearly visible next to the animal
  • KEEP YOUR BOX — claims without box photos will be denied
  • Claims must be submitted by TEXT ONLY, available 24/7, 365 days a year

The Live Arrival Guarantee is valid only if the shipment is signed for on the first delivery attempt. You must be present to receive and sign for the package. Missed deliveries void all guarantees.

Housing & Husbandry Requirements

All guarantees are void if the animal is not housed in a proper, species-appropriate enclosure. This includes:

  • Correct enclosure size
  • Proper heating and lighting
  • Appropriate substrate and furnishings

Improper housing (example: keeping a Bearded Dragon in a plastic container) will immediately void any guarantee.
If a claim is submitted, photos of the complete enclosure setup may be required.

DOA Resolution & Shipping Responsibility

UNI REPTILES HOME uses industry-standard professional packaging to ensure safe delivery. In the rare event of a DOA:

  • We will replace the animal
  • Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

No animals or insects are ever refundable or returnable.
For live animal claims, replacement or store credit are the only options.

UNI REPTILES HOME is not responsible for carrier delays caused by FedEx, USPS, or UPS.

No Cancellation Policy

All live animal orders are final.
Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled under any circumstances. Our workflow does not allow cancellations, so please be certain of your purchase before submitting payment.

Special Non-Guaranteed Shipping Days

December 21 & 22 are the final shipping days before Christmas. Due to extremely high FedEx volume:

  • NO live arrival or health guarantees apply
  • Shipping on these dates is 100% at the customer’s risk

Sexing Requests

Sexing is performed by experienced staff using best-effort methods, but no sexing is 100% guaranteed.
When purchasing our $10 sexing service, you acknowledge:

  • The service is best effort only
  • No refunds, exchanges, or compensation will be provided if the animal’s sex differs from the request

Animal Sizing Disclaimer

All size descriptions (hatchling, baby, juvenile, sub-adult, adult, small, medium, large, etc.) are approximate and for reference only. Growth rates vary by individual animal, and exact size is never guaranteed.

Feeder Insect Policy

There are no live arrival guarantees on feeder insects shipped via Priority Mail, despite proper packaging.

If a live arrival guarantee is desired, overnight shipping is available for $30. Please contact us to arrange invoicing.

Support After Purchase

If you have questions regarding:

  • Heating

We are happy to help with general care guidance.
However, we are not veterinarians and cannot diagnose conditions or provide medications. If your animal becomes ill, please consult a licensed exotic or reptile veterinarian immediately.
